DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a simple and quick skin treatment that gently removes the top layer of dead skin and skin cells. Providing exfoliation, its major benefit is removing the fine vellus hair (peach fuzz), leaving your skin smooth and vibrant looking. It’s best to do before our Jessner Peel or HydraFacials, allowing deeper penetration of product and more thorough treatment. Dermaplaning is ideal for any skin type.

How it Works

Dermaplaning is performed every 4 weeks or so and is a painless treatment using a sterile blade at a 45-degree angle and dragging it slowly and gently across your skin. After the treatment, the skin may feel slightly sensitive and mildly red for the first 24-48 hours. There is no need to worry about the hair on the face getting darker or coming back thicker, vellus hair grows back the same it is was prior to treatment.
